Your Brain In The City
Just living in the city (photo), even the spectacular city of Vancouver, can cause us stress. Are you sometimes so stressed that you can't remember where you're going or what you're suppose to be doing next?

Well, it turns out that city life plays an important role in stress. A brain researcher from Montreal, Dr. Jens Pruessner, has studied how the brain responds to stress. And, the news is not good for us city dwellers who are constantly exposed to a cacophony of fast-moving cars, buses, trucks and cyclists all trying to reach their respective destinations at the same time. The study revealed that city life creates more stress (via article from canada.com) on the brain than life in a smaller community.
