As a parent, one of the most important things you can do is to help your kids develop a positive attitude in all their outdoor activities. Lead by example and they will follow! Attitude transcends everything you do in life. When you have a positive attitude - everything else will follow. Developing a positive mental attitude, staying focused, looking out for your friends and wearing a helmet when riding are all examples of how to create safer environments and avoid the ER!
Do your kids or teens respond to peer pressure? It can play a big role for many youth. Creating their own personal limits instead and trying to chill out for a moment to think about their next move will help steer them in the right direction. Teach your kids and teens to always ask themselves: Are You Ready?
