1 Sweet Ride
Mountain Bike Pro-rider, Dylan Tremblay, teamed up with filmmaker, Ambrose Weingart (website) to produce a TV ad, "1 Sweet Ride" (video), in Dylan's secret bike trail (video). They joined the BC Injury Prevention Centre to help us reduce serious injuries in mountain biking. Recent research showed a significant increase in the number of serious injuries to the head and extremities.

Dylan is no stranger to years of learning the hard way! He's spent a lifetime of riding since 1994 when his dad got him started on an 18 speed ccm. He never looked back and was stoked on racing for 5 years before switching gears to shredding on mountain bikes in all sorts of outdoor terrain. Finding the right terrain to ride wasn't that hard to do growing up in the Kootenays surrounded by mountains in Nelson. He thanks his parents for their constant support and most of all their unwavering patience. He's a happy rider who likes to survive as simply as possible. For Dylan, it's not about the money.
Dylan's TV spot shows that hard work and training pays off! And, his parents support was very important to his success. Check out the Spirit 2 Survive fact sheet outlining the 4-Key Survival Skills (fact sheet) that can be used as a learning tool for your teens. Teach your kids/teens to ask: Are u Ready?
